Happy New Year! Here at Ciao we have been busy putting the decorations away for the year and placing new arrivals out on our showroom floor. It is often this time of year that we tend to focus more on our living space. This time of year naturally lends us to cleaning, organizing and looking at our living space for more function as well as feeling the need to spruce the place up a bit. We are taking a look at some pieces that are equally functional as they are beautiful.
The need for at home office space has become quite evident thanks to 2020. For some however, a specific area dedicated to working from home is a luxury that they just do not have. Here are a few tips on how to make the best use of space in your home.
Maximize Storage:
Finding pieces that can have multiple uses is a fantastic way to maximize your space. Something such as a bench that doubles for storage allows you to add additional seating for guests as well as hide all that clutter you do not want them to see.

The paint that you choose for a room will have a large effect on how you will feel in it. Going for more natural light colors will open your space up as well as create a stressless energized environment.

Buy Furniture that doubles for different rooms. When you don’t have a lot of options it can be useful to use your Dining table as a desk. You may also opt for a small side table that doubles as a decorative piece such as the one pictured below. Make sure to not clutter the space too much and to use your work materials to your advantage ( ex. Books, lighting, file cabinets, and pens.)

A sofa sleeper or trundle bed is another great way to utilize a space to it’s fullest potential. Perhaps a room used as an office may also be used as a space for guests.
