A few weeks ago Ciao Interiors, along with 75,000 attendees from 100+ countries, attended Market in High Point, North Carolina, which happens every fall and spring. It was so interesting to see all of the amazing showrooms with the latest styles and trends…here are some highlights!
We noticed some common trends in the spaces we visited like lots of textured fabric and plenty of neutral colors but we also saw some pops of color. This peachy color, referred to as Spice, was shown in many market showrooms and was a nice break from the grey and beige that has been on the market for years.
Another trend we kept seeing was furniture with rounded corners.
We saw many beautiful showrooms at High Point but there were a few that really stood out. The Ralph Lauren space inside the Theodore Alexander showroom was one…it was the definition of traditional!
On the other end of the spectrum was the bold and dramatic Eichholtz showroom, featuring the newly launched collaboration with German fashion designer, Phillip Plein.
We also saw really great accessories including a few different creative options for “faux” plants like New Growth Designs, which specializes in very real looking plants, flowers and trees of all varietals.
We discovered a cool artist named Tommy Mitchell who uses metal to create beautiful plants, flowers and vegetables.
One of the last stops we made was to Currey and Company’s amazing showroom to check out the latest lighting trends. It was a fun end to a fun trip!
