What a great birthday gift to receive this today, I love the floor plan!  I always disliked having people walk through the main conversation area , but I thought I was stuck with the arrangement I have had for 20 years.  My younger son is coming down from Seattle tomorrow and he’s in for some furniture moving!  He runs an antique shop there so he’s used to that.  He’s the reason for all the “knickknacks”.  They are all way past needing dusting, so I will take everything out and start over.  I think I’ll move the baskets into a wall shelf in my studio, that will free up some space for all my cats and the Roseville.  I like the idea of grouping that by color! I had expected you to banish the sewing machine (my great-grandmother Pederson’s, she lived in Creston), so am happy to see you found a spot for it.  All your suggestions and ideas are very valid,  and I will try to incorporate all of them.  The wall painting may have to wait, I can’t tackle that myself anymore, but I will go get swatches next week so I can dream.   I am so excited about this!  I can’t wait to invite my friends to try it.
