Kicking Kilim

Nothing grabs your attention like a swift kick in the pants and that’s exactly what a Kilim rug does when you walk on it.  The bright colors and bold patterns grab your attention.  Before you know it, you have a whole new outlook on life.  That may be an overstatement but Kilims have been around for thousands of years, and for good reason.

Each rug is unique, no two are the same.  Kilims exude warmth, charm and character.  Who wouldn’t want one in a room?  The floor is not the only place where Kilims are found.  They make wonderful pillows, ottomans and even wall hangings.  Check out the photo below and see what they can do for contemporary architecture.  These rugs have an uncanny ability to humanize space, they make any room come to life!
